Serie A delivered drama yesterday as the title race swung again, with Napoli rising to the top while Juventus slipped further behind after another frustrating result.

Napoli produced one of their strongest performances of the season, defeating Atalanta 3–1 at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. David Neres was the star of the night, scoring twice in the first half, while Noa Lang added a well-placed header just before the break. The victory lifted Napoli to 25 points, pushing them to the top of the Serie A table. The match also marked the debut of Atalanta’s new manager, Raffaele Palladino, who took charge following the departure of Ivan Juric.

Juventus, meanwhile, dropped crucial points in a 1–1 draw against bottom-placed Fiorentina. Filip Kostić opened the scoring for Juventus with a powerful strike just before halftime, but Fiorentina equalised early through Rolando Mandragora. The match was briefly halted due to discriminatory chants directed at Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović. After the game, manager Luciano Spalletti expressed his frustration, calling his team “too predictable.” The draw leaves Juventus drifting further from the top, having won only two of their last thirteen matches in all competitions.

Elsewhere, Bologna earned an impressive 3–0 victory over Udinese, while Cagliari and Genoa played out a thrilling 3–3 draw, adding more unpredictability to the mid-table battle.

With Napoli climbing to the summit and Juventus continuing to struggle, the Serie A title race grows tighter and more unpredictable as the season progresses.
