We've all heard the line: "You don't know what you have until it's gone."
But no one talks about the people who did know.

The ones who noticed every small thing. The laugh, the warmth, the comfort. The ones who tried, who stayed, who loved deeply, who sacrificed for you and made it seem like it's normal.

They didn't take anything for granted. They knew what they had. They just couldn't keep it.

That's the pain people don't write quotes about. The pain of losing something precious when you did everything right.

It's not about neglect. It's about inevitability. About life taking away something you were holding with both hands.
And that hurts far more than ignorance ever could.

And truly, only love could hurt like this
