The Quiet Guardian Romantic Poems

If walls could whisper what they've seen,
They'd tell of you in morning light,
Your gentle dance, your quiet routine,
A secret world, so pure and bright.

Not for your skin or hidden grace,
Though heaven knows they steal my breath,
But for those moments your true face
Shows joy and pain and all the rest.

I long to be your silent space,
The backdrop to your changing moods,
To hold your tears, reflect your grace,
And witness all your solitudes.

To be the arms around your day,
The quiet witness to your heart,
To know you in that honest way
When all pretense has fallen apart.

You're beautiful when no one sees,
When masks come down and you're just you,
I'd blend into your moments, please,
Just to behold what others never do.

Not for your form, though stars would weep
At curves that shame the mountain's line,
But for those treasures that you keep
Behind your eyes, so deep and fine.

I'd be the constant in your room,
The faithful guardian of your peace,
Present through your light and gloom,
A love whose wonder doesn't cease.

Some call it madness, this desire
To know your soul in all its hues,
But I would burn with patient fire
Just for the gift of knowing you.
