Sporting Lagos head coach Paul Offor said the team is not being carried away with their recent impressive displays.
Offor’s side defeated Remo Stars at the ongoing Naija Super 8 pre-season tournament in Lagos on Monday.
Sporting Lagos also played out a 1-1 draw with the reigning Nigeria Premier League champions Enyimba.
Offor admitted that the team is working hard to test their level against the top NPL side.
“We’re happy with our performances, but we’re not getting carried away by these results,” he told the club’s media.
“The most important thing for us is to test our level against the top guys.”
