Inter Milan legend, Alessandro Altobelli has slammed Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku for how he has handled his transfer situation.
Lukaku spent the 2022-2023 season on loan at Inter Milan from Chelsea.
The Belgian wanted to remain at Inter Milan this summer transfer window and he was recently linked with a move to their Serie A rival, Juventus.
Inter Milan, meanwhile, are looking for a new striker this summer transfer window as Edin Dzeko has completed a move to Turkish club Fenerbahce.
Inter are looking to sign Marko Arnautovic from Bologna in a low-cost deal.
However, Altobelli endorsed the move and hit out at Lukaku.
Altobelli said, “Dzeko received a nice offer in Turkey and Lukaku is not even worth talking about, he mocked an entire fanbase, indeed all Italian fans, because there are ways and means to try to achieve your goals.”
Lukaku is not in Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino’s plans at Stamford Bridge.
Hence, the former Manchester United attacker is looking for a new club.
