Arsenal legend Ian Wright has expressed his love for the club’s forward. Reiss Nelson after the England star signed a new contract at the Emirates.
Nelson’s contract expired on June 30, after which he technically became a free agent for a short while.
He got offers from multiple other clubs, including some in Europe but Mikel Arteta was able to convince to extend his stay at the Emirates.
Both Arsenal and Nelson announced the news on their social media handles on Thursday.
Former Gunners forward and club legend Ian Wright was happy with the player’s decision.
He replied to Reiss Nelson’s Instagram post, with the message “Love you” along with a few heart emojis.
Nelson was previously unsettled at the club and worried about his future.
