The former Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola, has called for peace between the communities of Ifon-Osun and Ilobu in Orolu and Irepodun local government areas.
The crisis between the two communities has resulted in the destruction of property, the death of lives, and the maiming of others, according to Oyetola's spokesperson, Ismail Omipidan.
He urged the parties involved to make peace and put an end to the pointless conflict, offering his condolences to the families of the deceased and sympathising with those who lost their property.
