Chelsea announced on Thursday the signing of Deivid Washington from Brazilian club Santos on a seven-year contract, with the option of a further year.
Chelsea disclosed this in a statement via its website ahead of their Premier League tie with Luton Town on Friday.
Washington, 18, can play anywhere across the line in the final third, but predominantly as a striker.
He started his career with Gremio before switching to Santos in 2016.
