Bundesliga Roundup: Kane Hits 100 as Bayern Dominate, Dortmund Stay Unbeaten, Leverkusen in Transition | MirrorLog
The Bundesliga season continues to deliver drama, milestones, and high-level performances, with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund setting the pace while Bayer Leverkusen adjusts to a new era.

Kane Reaches Historic Milestone
Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane etched his name deeper into Bundesliga history after netting twice in a 4-0 victory over Werder Bremen. The brace brought his tally to 100 goals for Bayern, achieved in just 104 matches  making him the fastest player to reach that mark in Europe’s top five leagues since 2000. Kane surpassed the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland in the process, solidifying his status as one of the most clinical forwards in modern football.

The milestone came just days after Kane’s hat-trick against Hoffenheim in a 4-1 win, which maintained Bayern’s perfect start to the league. The Bavarians have also set a new Bundesliga record for goals scored in the first four matchdays, underlining their offensive firepower this season.

Dortmund Confident in Unbeaten Run
Borussia Dortmund are also making waves, currently on a 12-match unbeaten streak in the Bundesliga. Coach Niko Kovač expressed confidence that his side can continue their strong run as they chase Bayern near the top of the table. Dortmund’s resilience has made them Bayern’s biggest challengers in the early part of the campaign.

Leverkusen Under Construction
Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen remain in transition under new coach Kasper Hjulmand, who has described the team as a “work in progress.” With several key departures and a shift in management, the squad is still finding its rhythm. While their project is far from complete, Leverkusen continue to show flashes of the dynamic play that made them title contenders last season.

Emerging Talents Shine
Beyond the big names, several young stars have begun to make their mark this September. At Union Berlin, Olivier Burke has highlighted the potential of his partnerships with Ilyas Ansah and Andrej Ilić, raising hopes of a special campaign for the capital club.

With Kane in unstoppable form, Dortmund keeping pace, and Leverkusen rebuilding, the Bundesliga promises another thrilling season full of goals, rivalries, and rising talents.
